Smoking

The fatal risks of smoking are commonly known yet this doesn’t stop people from lighting up. The reason for this is that the subconscious mind of a smoker associates
pleasure with smoking and pain when they try to quit smoking. We are driven at an instinctive level to seek pleasure and avoid pain and therefore the subconscious stops a
smoker when they attempt to quit smoking, even at the risk of sickness and death. Smoking is very largely a psychological habit which means that physical treatments like the
